รายละเอียด : พระยาศรีสุนทรโวหาร “น้อย อาจารยางกูร” เกิดเมื่อ 5 กรกฎาคม 2365 เป็นชาวฉะเชิงเทรา ในขณะมี ชีวิตได้ศึกษาเล่าเรียนหนังสือไทย หนังสือขอม และ พระธรรมวินัยจากสํานักต่าง ๆ จนเชี่ยวชาญและ แตกฉานได้รับสมญาว่าเป็นศาลฎีกาภาษาไทยคุณูปการของท่านที่ได้รับยกย่อง คือการเรียบเรียง “แบบเรียนหลวง” ซึ่งเป็นตําราแบบเรียนภาษาไทยอย่างเป็นทางการเล่มแรก ในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ รวมถึงการแต่งหนังสือกวีนิพนธ์ที่มีคุณค่าด้านการศึกษาศาสนา และวัฒนธรรมอีกหลายเรื่อง ด้วยกัน และปี 2565ในวาระครบ 200 ปี ของ พระยาศรีสุนทรโวหารองค์การยูเนสโกมีมติยกย่องให้ท่านเป็นบุคคลสําคัญของโลกด้านการศึกษาและวัฒนธรรม

Description : Phraya Srisundaravohara (Noi Acharyankura) was born on July 5, 1822, a native of Chachoengsao. During his life, he studied Thai books, Khmer books and the Buddhist discipline from various schools with distinction and proficiency. He received an informal title as the Supreme Court of the Thai language through the compilation of “The Royal Textbook”, which was the first official Thai textbook in the Rattanakosin period. Other notable works include many books of poetry that hold important educational, religious and cultural values. In 2022, UNESCO celebrates 200 years of his life by honoring him as an important person of the world in education and culture.
