Phraya Srisundaravohara (Noi Acharyankura) was born on July 5, 1822, a native of Chachoengsao. During his life, he studied Thai books, Khmer books and the Buddhist discipline from various schools with distinction and proficiency. He received an informal title as the Supreme Court of the Thai language through the compilation of “The Royal Textbook”, which was the first official Thai textbook in the Rattanakosin period. Other notable works include many books of poetry that hold important educational, religious and cultural values. In 2022, UNESCO celebrates 200 years of his life by honoring him as an important person of the world in education and culture.
