รายละเอียด : จากแสตมป์ชุดอนุรักษ์มรดกไทยในซีรีส์"ภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนัง" ประเดิมด้วยผลงานแดนล้านนาเมื่อปีที่แล้ว มาในปีนี้คือคุณค่าแห่ง-จิตรศิลป์ถิ่นอีสาน ซึ่งเรียกกันว่า "ฮูปแต้ม" มักปรากฏในโบสถ์หรือ "สิม" ตามวัดต่างๆ โดยช่างแต้มได้ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับประเพณีวัฒนธรรมและวิถีชีวิตของชาวอีสาน ตลอดจนเรื่องพุทธศาสนา ซึ่งถือเป็นเรื่องที่มีการเขียนมากที่สุด สิมจึงเป็นแหล่งความรู้สำคัญของท้องถิ่นนี้ ฮูปแต้มบนแสตมป์ทั้ง 4 แบบได้แก่ พระแม่ธรณีจากวัดกลางมิ่งเมือง จ.ร้อยเอ็ด เป็นเรื่องราว พุทธประวัติและทศชาติชาดก อยู่ในสิมทึบพื้นบ้านบริสุทธิ์ที่ดีที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งของอีสาน คือสร้างด้วยไม้และก่ออิฐถือปูน หมอแคน วัดป่าเรไลย์ จ.มหาสารคามสะท้อนการละเล่นประจำถิ่นแสดงลีลาท่าทางที่สนุกสนานของชาวบ้านรวมทั้งการแต่งกายของชายหญิง สระอโนดาด วัดโพธิ์ชัย จ.เลย ด้านในเขียนเรื่องพุทธประวัติและพระเวสสันดรชาดก ด้านนอกเขียนเรื่องเนมิราชชาดก สังข์ศิลป์ชัยและการะเกด สะท้อนชีวิตความเป็นอยู่และการนับถือศาสนาของชาวบ้าน บ้านนาพึง (ที่ตั้งของวัด) ลักษณะของลายเส้นและการใช้สีบ่งบอกถึง ความมีอิสระและเป็นศิลปะท้องถิ่น

 

Description : From Thai Heritage Conservation Commemorative Stamp of "Mural Paintings" series, started off with the creation from Lanna last year to this year's the value in spirit of art derivable from Isan which is called

"Hoop-Tam". Widely seen in chapels, "Sim" which is situated in a temple, is painted to illustrate Isan's tradition, people's way of life as well as Buddhist stories that are found to be predominantly depicted. Sim is, therefore, regarded to a crucial source of local knowledge. Four designs of Hoop-Tam include the story of Thokkathan-Mother Earth in Wat Klang Ming Muang of Roi Et portraying the Life of the Buddha and the 10 Jatakas. This mural painting was neatly made in one of the finest Sim in Isan that is dense and made of wood, bricks as well as cement. Khene Soloists of Wat Pa Rei Lai in Mahasarakham reflect a traditional play showing enjoyable gestures of people and their costume worn by men and women. Anodard Pond in Wat Bhochai of Loei province where the Life of the Buddha along with the Vessantara Jataka are narrated in paintings inside the building, whereas the Nemiraja Jataka, Sangsilpchai and Karaked displaying life and religious beliefs of Na Peung (the temple location) Villagers are painted on the outside showing the drawing lines and colouring that are genuinely infused with a sense of freedom and local art.
