Description : The Year of the dog has dog as the zodiac sign symbolizing honesty, sincerity and loyalty. Therefore, those born in a year of dog are likely to be trustful people and beloved by their surrounding folks. They are always ready to protect the ones they love and good at self-control. They love adventure and always seek new experiences. This is the 4th in the new series of zodiac postage stamp, having started with the Year of the Goat in 2015. On the occasion of the celebration of the 5th cycle birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Her Royal Highness kindly granted permission for Thailand Post to use the royal drawings of the 12 zodiac signs as the original illustration for the new series of zodiac postage stamps. The design is a dog in sitting posture with its tongue out and cordial gaze, which describes the familiar gesture and manner of a dog having close relationship with its owner.
