รายละเอียด : ชุดต่อเนื่องของแสตมป์ซีรีย์ "วัตุมงคลประจำภาค" ปีนี้เป็นภาคเหนือ ได้แก่ เหรียญครูบาศรีวิชัย วัดบ้านปาง จ.ลำพูน ปี 2482 รุ่นแรกสุดยอดวัตถุมงคลแห่งล้านนา ซึ่งได้รับความนิยมในการพระเครื่องอย่างสูงโดยทั่วไป ไม่เฉพาะในภาคเหนือ เนื้อทองแดงกะไหล่เงิน พิมพ์รูปไข่ มีพุทธคุณทางด้านเมตตามหานิยม บนเหรียญเป็นภาพครูบาศรีวิชัยนั่งสมาธิคลุมจีวรมือซ้ายคล้องประคำ เชื่อกันว่าเป็นภาพที่บันทึกไว้เมื่อครั้งที่ท่านไปบูรณะวิหารวัดศรีโคมคำในปี 2466 วัตุประสงค์ในการสร้างเหรียญรุ่นนี้เพื่อเป็นที่ระลึกในงานพระราชทานเพลิงศพครูบาศรีวิชัย 21 มีนาคม 2489 หรือ 7 ปี หลังมรณภาพเมื่อปี 2482 ต้นแบบภาพได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จาก ศุภชัย เรืองสรรงามสิริ หรือ "ตี๋เหล้า" ผู้คร่ำหวอดในวงการพระเครื่อง

Description : Thailand Post is proud to present the consecutive stamp series, "Amulets of the Region". This year is theme the amulet from the Northern region. The amulet of Phra Khru Ba Siwichai, Ban Lampang Temple, Lamphun, first series produced in B.E. 2482 (A.D. 1939) , which is admired as the great of Lanna amulet and exceptionally popular among amulet collectors, not only the north but throughout the country also, is chosen. This oval-shaped, bronze-gilded-in-silver medal is believed to have supernatural power in charisma that made the owner be loved and admired by people around. On the medal, it features Phra Khru Ba Siwichai a famous Master Monk of the Northern Region of Thailand, sitting in the meditation posture, wearing monk robe, and holding the rosary on his left hand. It is said that the figure on the medal is from a photograph taken in the event that the monk went to Wat Si Khom Kham for Vihara Restoration Ceremony in 1923. This medal was issued later to commemorate the cremation of Phra Khru Ba Siwichai on 21st March 1946, 7 year after his passing away. The prototype image for stamp design is taken by the permission of Mr.Supachai Rueangsanngamsiri, widely knows as Ti-Lao, a veteran in amulet community.   |
