รายละเอียด : ในปี 2433 พระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้สถาปนาการรถไฟขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรกในสังกัดกระทรวงโยธาธิการและสร้างรถไฟสายกรุงเทพ-นครราชสีมา นับเป็นเส้นทางรถไฟสายแรกของประเทศสยาม ต่อมาในวันที่ 26 มีนาคม 2439 เสด็จพระราชดำเนินมาทรงประกอบพระราชพิธีเปิดการเดินทางรถไฟ ซึ่่งได้ก่อสร้างสำเร็จบ่งส่วนและสามารถเปิดให้ประชาชนเดินทางไปมาระหว่างกรุงเทพ - อยุธยา เป็นระยะทาง 71 กิโลเมตร การรถไฟจยึงถือให้วันที่ 26 มีนาคมของทุกปี เป็นคล้ายสถาปนา กิจการรถไฟจนถึงปัจจุบัน
ตราไปรษณียากรที่ระลึกในโอกาสครบรอบ 120 ปี การรถไฟไทย ซึ่งนับเป็นแสตมป์วงกลมชุดที่ 3 ต่อเนื่อง มาจากชุดแรก" 30 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย - จีน " (ภาพหมีแพนด้า)และ "ตราประจำจังหวัด77 จังหวัด " ตามลำดับ นำเสนอหัวรถจักร 4 แบบ ไก้แก่ รถจักร GEK กำลังเครื่อง 1,320 แรงม้า นำมาใช้งานในปี 2558 และ Airport Rail Link รถไฟฟ้าเชื่อมต่อท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ นำมาใฃ้งานในปี 2553

Description : In 1890,His Majesty King Chulalongkorn was royally pleased to fistly establish the Train Operation which was under the control of the Ministry of Public Works as well as to build the frist Siam's railway line linking Bangkok and Nskhon Ratchasima. Later on March 26, 1896, His Majesty had graciously presided over the inauguration ceremony of Bangkok - Nakornratchasima railway route of which the construction was partly complete at that time, and consendent to ooperate was partly compplete at that time, and consented to operate the Bangkok - Ayuttaya route, in total distance of 71 kilometers, for the public to travel via trian. Therefore, the 26th of March as the Establihment Day of Thailand Railway Sevices up to the present.
Following the 30th Anniversary of the Diplomentic Relations between Thailand and Pepple's Republic of China Commemorative Stamps (Panda Stamp) and the 7th series of Provincial Emblem Postage Stamps, the 120th Anniversary of the state  Railway of Thailand Commemorative Stamps Feature round - shaped perforation so that it becomes the Thailand's third circle stamp issuess. It has four designs, namely Gek locomotive with 1,320 horsepower,first operated in 1964 , GEA locomotive with 2,500 horsepower,first operated in 1995, CSR diesel-eletric locomotive with3,800 horsepower,first operated in 2015 and Airport Rail Link,Frist operated in 2010.
